Vgp Golden Beach Resort, Chennai

My stay at the resort was a mix of fun and frustration. While the spacious grounds and proximity to the beach were definite pluses, the maintenance issues in the rooms and the dining experience left much to be desired. The staff was friendly, but the overall value didn't justify the price I paid.

We had a great time at the resort, especially with the kids. The huge lawn and play area were a hit, and it's really close to the beach. However, the rooms could use some serious attention, particularly the bathrooms and overall cleanliness. Service wasn't the best either, which was a bit disappointing considering the price we paid.

I booked a sea view room at this resort expecting a relaxing stay, but I was disappointed by several aspects. While the location by the beach is great, access is surprisingly restricted after 6 PM. Check-in issues and a torn bedsheet in the room also detracted from my experience. The breakfast options were subpar, but the swimming pool area was nice, and the staff were polite. Overall, the stay was not worth the price, and I would recommend looking for other options.
